SFA graduate student art show to open


NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - Recent works of art by Stephen F. Austin State University graduate students will be exhibited in SFA's Griffith Gallery Tuesday, Dec. 1, through Friday, Dec. 18. An opening reception for "Attack of the Grad Show" will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4.

"This is an impromptu exhibition that will give the public a chance to view the breadth of talent we have among our graduate students," said Christian Cutler, director of SFA galleries.

Artists represented in the show include Joseph Alford, Dawn Chatoney, Emma Si Chen, David Fortner, Keturah Fortner and Terri Goggans. Also, Chad Hines, Shea Howard, Daniel Longtin, Liz Roberts, Richard Skurla, Scott Strickland and Michael Tubbs.

Griffith Gallery is located in Room 208 of the Griffith Fine Arts Building, 2222 Alumni Dr. on the SFA campus. Gallery hours are 12:30 to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
