NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Gather up your Easter baskets and get ready for the 10th annual Tucker Memorial Easter Egg Hunt at the SFA Pineywoods Native Plant Center and Forest Resources Institute on Saturday, April 11, at 2900 Raguet St.

Children of all ages can participate in the egg hunt, as well as games, face painting and nature hikes along the trails. Learn about the Caddo Indian culture from Texas Parks and Wildlife staff, and visit with special guest, Smokey The Bear.

The Tucker family historically held an Easter egg hunt for community children each year, and the tradition continues with the help of SFA staff and volunteers, according to event coordinator Elyce Rodewald.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the egg hunt begins promptly at 10 a.m. Children should bring their own Easter baskets and be accompanied by an adult.
