Title: Syrup Mill
"This is where we took sugar cane to make syrup. There is nothing better than my mother's biscuits, sausage my daddy had just made from killing a hog, and ribbon cane syrup. The mill was near my cousins' house & as they would squeeze the juice out of the cane, it was piled high. My cousin, myself, and others would play on that pile with bees all around and become very sticky. I don't remember ever being stung by a bee. I guess the cane was sweeter than we were."
"It has been gone a long time and just pasture is left, only memories remain."
