Title: Miss Lou's Store
"Miss Lou's Store was the hubbub of Arcadia. It had everything. My mother bought material there when she could afford to make me a dress. There was a beautiful counter with rounded glass on top that you could stare at the candies. There was just about whatever you needed there. Another building next to the main store was the feed store. Out front of the main store was the neatest old gas pump. Men would come and sit on the big front porch & talk. I guess the women were at home working."
"The store is no longer there."
