"This was the Masonic Lodge in from of my maternal grandparents' (Elroy and Marquette (Wallace) Emanis) home. When my siblings and I were all very young, we saw white paint and brushes left where workers had been painting the lodge. We decided to help and got paint all over ourselves. We all remember our mother whipping us and cleaning us with gasoline from our grandparents' store."
