"This is the location of one of my great-grandmother's homes. Her name was Arrie Elizabeth Mullins Gillespie Roach Steele. Originally, the home was to be for herself and one of her sons and his family, but the living arrangements didn't work out permanently. I remember visiting my great-uncle's family here when we visited Arcadia. Several years ago, I "rescued" some flower bulbs from around the yard and I now have some lovely spring-time reminders of her memory."
