Title: Baldcypress
"Because this was the first baldcypress I ever saw. It was planted by my Grandmother Ruth's uncles Hughey & Walter Jones, dug from the Sabine River, which was named for the Spanish name for baldcypress, "Sabina." It is located at the old Ezra & Thelma Wheeler homeplace which my dad bought (with land) to raise cows in the 1970s. He put a trailer house on it and we would come to visit on the weekends calling it "the farm."
