SFA's MLK Day of Service project deadline approaching

The deadline for Stephen F. Austin State University and Nacogdoches communities to submit community work projects for the seventh annual MLK Day of Service, organized through the SFA Office of Multicultural Affairs, is Friday, Dec. 9. Each year, hundreds of SFA students volunteer to give back to the local community and commemorate the life and work of civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. Volunteer work projects include painting benches, creating art projects, revitalizing landscaping and assisting at nursing homes. Project request forms can be accessed at www.sfasu.edu/oma.
