Former governor candidate speaks to SFA nursing graduates

Frances Tarlton "Sissy" Farenthold, former Texas gubernatorial candidate and governor U.S. vice presidential nominee, recently spoke to spring 2012 Stephen F. Austin State University nursing graduates at their commencement reception.
Farenthold, whose granddaughter Allison Haddick was among the May graduates of SFA's Richard and Lucille DeWitt School of Nursing, challenged students to be proactive in their profession and keep up with legislative actions.
