Pineywoods Youth Orchestra
Members of the Pineywoods Youth Orchestra, a part of the Stephen F. Austin State University Music Preparatory Division, pose after a recent concert. The ensemble will present its annual spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at First United Methodist Church in Nacogdoches. The concert will feature Dr. Andrew Parr, SFA professor of music, performing G.F. Handel's "Organ Concerto No. 10, Op. 7, No. 4." The orchestra is directed by SFA music faculty members Drs. Evgeni Raychev and Jennifer Dalmas. The concert, "Spring Celebration," is free and open to the public. For more information, please call (936) 468-1291.
