Funeral service to be held in Johnson Coliseum; parking modifications

A funeral service for Bradley Jimmerson will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in Johnson Coliseum on the SFA campus.
Jimmerson, a deputy with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office, died Friday, Oct. 5, when he was struck by two vehicles on U.S. 259 north of Nacogdoches, after being dispatched to remove debris from the highway.
The commuter parking lot (Lot 47) and the lot behind the coliseum (Lot 48) will be closed from 4 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday. During this time, students with commuter parking permits will be allowed to park in any legal space on campus that is not designated as reserved, service or handicap parking.
