Title: Barn at Emanis Dog Trot
"My friend and cousin, Jerry Pate, and I decided in our teenage years, to make some homebrew. We mixed it up and put it in fruit jars and sealed them up. Our secret was safe until Mother had company and our jars started to blow up. They thought someone was shooting at them. We kept all of this in the barn. My sister Jackie loved dogs and had a female Manchester terrier that was the best squirrel dog around. The dog's name was Turvey and she bred her in the barn and she had 13 puppies in the barn. One died, but we raised 12 terriers that Jackie sold and used the money for her college tuition at SFA."
"I also remember riding calves in the barn, and I wasn't supposed to. They would have never found out if I hadn't broken fences down while riding them."
