The Harle-Twyman home is a two-story frame Colonial Revival structure with a five bay facade. The front entrance has an arched portico overhang.
Historical Background
The Harle-Twyman home was built in 1894 by Joe Harle, who established the town Harleton. It was originialy built as a log cabin and later enlarged in 1924 by Will Twyman. Mrs. Grace Twyman composed and published musical compositions. The old Marshall Library was patterned after this home.
