Policy and Procedure Manual for the UTS-SFA Police Department

Introduction

As part of the University of Texas System Police Department, this is a guideline for our departmental employees and outlines departmental administration, operations and procedures. 

All university policy and procedures also are applicable to department personnel. The order of priority for interpreting policies shall be given first to university-level policies and procedures and then to police departmental policies and procedures. 

When in conflict, university-level policies and procedures shall prevail. However, police departmental policies and procedures may assist in interpreting and applying university-level policies and procedures to police department employees. 

This manual may be amended on occasion in writing and/or verbally.
