SFA is committed to maintaining the security of payment card information. SFA requires that all payment card information is handled and disposed of in a manner that protects customer information, complies with applicable law and, ultimately, meets the university's obligation to comply with the data security standards required by the Payment Card Industry (PCI).
In order to begin accepting payment cards, SFA departments must receive prior approval from the Department of Administrative Services and the Business Office.
Departments accepting payment cards must comply with PCI Data Security Standards (DSS), complete an annual compliance questionnaire and attend PCI training.
