Glass ornaments hand decorated by area artists for the SFA Friends of the Visual Arts' annual "Hooked on Art" scholarship fund-raiser will be on display at The Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House in downtown Nacogdoches from Thursday, Dec. 1, to Friday, Dec. 9, and available for purchase through a silent auction and raffle. Included in this year's auction will be an ornament that features an original autograph by Johnny Cash. The autograph alone is valued at $150. The fund-raiser's closing reception will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. Final bids will be taken through 7:15. The Cole Art Center is located at 329 E. Main St. and is open 12:30 to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, please call (936) 468-1131.
