Explore the collection of resources below that may be helpful as you get ready to settle in, meet your new roommate and become familiar with the SFA campus.
- Before you start packing, read the community guidelines. These expectations help keep Lumberjacks safe while providing a supportive and positive on-campus living experience.

Fall 2024 Move-In Instructions
Checking in
Residents moving in Aug. 23 and 24
Utilize a centralized drive-through check-in spot in Lot 47, also known as the commuter parking lot.
Make this your first stop on campus. Without leaving your car, you'll check in, receive your keys, parking map and room inspection form.
Residents moving in Aug. 25
Go directly to your residence hall to check in.
Moving in
You can bring up to two people to assist with move-in. Be cautious not to bring any family members or friends that could be at a higher risk of getting overheated.
Some halls have drop and go areas, while others allow residents to park directly and unload belongings. Check carefully for signage.
