Calling 911
In the event of an emergency, you should call 911. If you dial 911 from any campus phone, you will be connected to the UTS-SFA police department. If you wish to reach the Nacogdoches Police Department, dial 911 from your cell phone.
Eyewitness Text Tips
In an effort to provide a way to make anonymous crime tips, The University of Texas System Police Department at SFA offers the Eyewitness Text Tip.
This allows anyone with information about a crime in progress or a crime that has already been reported to provide anonymous information to the campus police. To operate, save the number "67283" in your cell phone, begin the text message with "SFASUTIP" and a space, and then your message. You will receive a confirmation text back that your tip was received.
If it is an emergency or you need immediate assistance, dial 911 from any campus phone or 936.468.9111 to report the emergency to the campus police.
