A touring production of “Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type” comes to the Stephen F. Austin State University campus for two performances on Wednesday, May 8, in W.M. Turner Auditorium as part of the Children’s Performing Arts Series.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Children’s Performing Arts Series at Stephen F. Austin State University will present two performances of “Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type” Wednesday, May 8, in W.M. Turner Auditorium on the SFA campus.

The children’s play presented by Main Street Theater of Houston is based on the book by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin, used with permission of Pippin Properties, Inc., and adapted by James E. Grote and George Howe.

The Children’s Performing Arts Series, presented by the Micky Elliott College of Fine Arts, features professional touring shows designed to entertain, educate and engage young audiences of all ages, according to Diane Peterson, Fine Arts Box Office manager and director of the children’s series.

In “Click, Clack, Moo,” Farmer Brown has a problem. His cows like to type. And when they start using the typewriter to make demands and stand up for their rights, Farmer Brown has his hands full.

“Join the duck and the cows in the barnyard with this hilarious musical about cooperation,” Peterson said.

“Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type” targets children in prekindergarten through fifth grades. Performances are at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Turner Auditorium is located in Griffith Fine Arts Building, 2222 Alumni Drive.

Tickets are $9 for individuals and $7 per person for groups of 20 or more. Call 936.468.6407 or visit the Fine Arts Box Office for tickets or more information.
